1970: A stockbroker in the City. Educated at Tonbridge School and Cambridge University. Is a member of a family which has produced some outstanding hockey players. Has played for Ipswichs East Anglianss The Tramps and Dulwich; represented Suffolk and The East of England. Visited Holland9 Spain, France and Germany in the course of playing hockey. Is somewhat of a wine connoisseur. Interested in impressionist paintings and Victorian sideboards. Toured Rhodesia and South Africa 1968 where he became known as “The Baron”.
